Dan Marshall
Founder, Principal Advisor
Dan founded MDX Innovations with a mandate to provide independent technology advisory helping organisations navigate complex decisions across Agentic AI, data strategy, data center, and digital infrastructure. With more than 20 years of experience spanning enterprise infrastructure, cloud, AI, and digital transformation, he advises CIOs, CTOs, and executive leadership teams on technology strategies where business impact, operational scale, and risk management intersect.
MDX Innovations was built on a simple principle: critical technology decisions require independent perspective, not vendor influence. Dan works with organisations to move beyond technology hype and AI experimentation into scalable, production-ready strategies across AI governance, enterprise data foundations, infrastructure modernization, and data centre transformation.
Prior to founding MDX Innovations, Dan held senior leadership and enterprise roles with Equinix, Oracle, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Sun Microsystems. His career has included leading enterprise growth across Canada, advising global organizations on cloud and infrastructure strategy, and leading national presales and architecture teams supporting some of the country's most complex technology environments.
Throughout his career, Dan has worked closely with enterprise and public sector organizations across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and government helping executive teams align technology investments to long-term business outcomes. He is recognized for combining executive-level strategic thinking with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, AI, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems, delivering clear, practical guidance without vendor bias.
